Weight lose with a difference
What perception do we have about weight loss, is it hard or easy. What frame of mind do we create around this subject? We hear about how other people have done it or have not done it and we create a reality and a belief based on most of the things we hear good or bad.. We take on board other people's scripts and an experience about the matter thus creates a belief inside us. Is it, bad to base our beliefs and reality based on others experiences about health, knowing that we are individuals with different physiology, and a different been of energy on this planet compared to the other people around us. Should we base our reality, knowledge and beliefs around who we are and what we can be.
If we believe that we have to exercise to lose weight, you will not loss it unless you exercise, like wise, if we believe that we have to starve ourselves to lose weight then that is the only way we can do it. Most people believe that starving yourself and exercise is the key to losing weight. The correct belief we should have is putting the right amount of food(fuel) in our bodies to get to the next fill. And know that the body will store the right amount fuel to see this happen and get rid of what is not needed. Can a glass ever be more than full, you can fill a glass up and continue to pour water into the glass. What happens to the water, it will just over flow and go down the drain. Why not our bodies, it extracted all that needs from the food then why can't the rest just go down the toilet. I know this works because I had done it. I went to a wedding in Adelaide( many years ago), being Italian there is always plenty of food when visiting relatives, I came back home 4 kg heavier. Recently I was at a seminar at a six star hotel, buffet breakfast, buffet lunches and buffet dinners for 4 days. I returned home with out gaining any weight by applying the principle subconsciously store what you need get rid of the rest quickly, easily and effortlessly.
Paul mentions that we need to exercise to be healthy, exercise increases heart rate thus creating a greater oxygen flow and blood flow through the body, exercise releases various hormones into the body to make us feel happier and better that don't come from sit in on a couch. He defines exercise as movement that increases the heart rate and respiratory rates. People say I don't have time to exercise, do you walked to your car, get out of bed, walk around the office, around the streets all you need to do now is do it a bit quicker to boost the heart rate and respiratory rates.
When I decided to lose some weight I started eating better and walking a round the oval across the street five times a week. My goal was to lose weight not necessarily become healthier once I reached the level that I was comfortable with. My motivation to exercise died, my eating digressed. My thoughts were on weight loss not health, a year later as I continued NLP training I realised what I had done so I had shifted my thinking towards health and not weight loss and my motivation return to walk, to eat better returns and as a result more weight started to fall I let go of the limiting decision of weight loss and put a decision of health ahead of weight loss one followed the other.
